704 - ON THE JOB INJURIES
The Company strives to provide all employees with a safe and healthy work environment. However, from time to time workplace accidents happen. Employees must report workplace accidents or illness to the Safety Manager and/or their FDSS Supervisor immediately regardless of how minor the accident or illness may initially appear. Failure to do so may delay subsequent benefits or jeopardize the employee’s right to benefits and may be cause for disciplinary action. If the injury will require medical attention the employee should fill out all necessary Incident/Accident forms before going to the doctor, when possible. If this is not possible the employee should see their FDSS Supervisor immediately after leaving the doctor’s office, to fill out the necessary Incident/Accident form. If the employee is unable to make a report to the FDSS Supervisor or Manager, the employee should contact the Safety Manager directly.
