205 - EMPLOYEE DEFINITIONS
There are several different classifications of employee. This classification has important impacts on benefits and other working conditions and expectations.
Security Officer – Security Officers (Officers) are variable-hour employees who are placed in temporary positions at client work sites to perform security/patrol services. This is a ‘non-exempt’ role (see Policy 206 re: FLSA).
Associate – Staffing Associates are variable-hour employees who are placed in temporary positions at client work sites to perform light industrial or administrative work. This is a ‘non-exempt’ role (see Policy 206 re: FLSA).
Staff Employee – Staff employees are the administrative and operational employees who are employed in full or part-time positions with the Company to perform specific jobs to support Company operations. Staff can be either ‘non-exempt’ or ‘exempt’ depending on the position duties (see Policy 206 re: FLSA).

Executive Management – the Executive team includes the President/Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), Chief Operating Officer (“COO”), Chief Legal Officer (“CLO”).
Senior Management – the Senior management team includes the above described Executives, as well as Presidents, Executive Directors, and Director-level employees.
Board of Directors – the Board of Directors (“Board” or “BOD”) is comprised of outside business leaders who meet regularly to help direct the actions of the Company. The list of current members of the Board can be found on the Company website.
Supervisor – may refer to any staff employee with subordinate employees, e.g. Recruiters, Staffing or Security Supervisors, Security Shift Supervisors, Branch and/or Regional Managers.
